The Federal Act on Accessibility Requirements for Products and Services (BFSG) of 16.7.2021 is not applicable to urban, suburban and regional transport services in accordance with Section 1 (3) No. 2 BFSG and therefore not applicable to the RNN's area of activity. Where required by law, RNN indicates the degree of current implementation for individual services. This declaration on digital accessibility applies to the website www.rnn.info.
The digital accessibility of RNN's services is based on the harmonized European standard EN 301 549 in the currently valid version, which specifies the success criteria of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 in conformity levels A and AA.

6 RNN D-Ticket App
The information provided above about the website applies accordingly to the RNN D-Ticket app. The following content is currently not fully accessible:
- Keyboard navigation is restricted in certain areas.
- Landscape mode is missing.
- Some interactive elements are not fully usable with screen readers.
- Keyboard navigation is limited in certain areas.
- Contrasts and focus markings do not meet the requirements of WCAG 2.1 everywhere.
- Alternative texts for graphic content are missing in some areas.
Regarding the content mentioned above, some requirements of EN 301 549 and WCAG 2.1 (Level AA) have not yet been fully implemented. This is primarily due to limited personnel and financial resources, existing legacy systems, and contractual obligations to third-party providers whose applications (e.g., electronic timetable information, interactive maps) cannot currently be provided in a fully accessible format. The affected content will be revised gradually and made accessible according to the EN 301 549 specifications during system changes or major relaunches. A complete, immediate conversion would currently represent a disproportionate burden for the RNN.
