On December 6, it's time again: Citizens in Budenheim can take advantage of the 0-Euro Saturday and travel by bus and train for free! The initiative is part of a pilot project and will run on the first Saturday of every month until mid-2025:
- Within Budenheim,
- Between Budenheim and Mainz
- Within Mainz
Free use is possible without a ticket, starts at 00:00 and ends the following Sunday at 05:00, similar to the "0-Euro-Saturday" timetable in Mainz.
We are monitoring the pilot project and will measure the results once the test phase is complete. Our Managing Director Silke Meyer emphasizes: "We are delighted to be able to support the 0-Euro Saturday in Budenheim as a pilot project. This offer not only enables low-cost mobility, but also provides us with valuable insights into how such measures can contribute to strengthening local transport."
The extension of the 0-Euro Saturday to Budenheim is a further step towards attractive and climate-friendly mobility in the region.
