How to get there and back:
- Line 612 takes you directly from the station to the Christmas market - every hour on Fridays and at weekends until 20:34.
- Night bus 618 runs every hour until 2:04 am on Fridays and Saturdays and until 11:04 pm on Sundays - without advance booking!
- Line 613 runs more frequently on Advent weekends: on Fridays every hour until 8:04 pm, on Saturdays every two hours until 6:47 pm, on Sundays even every hour until 8:47 pm.
- Line 626 also offers a return journey at 22:10 directly from Marktplatz.
- Other lines such as 625, 640, 654 and lines 56 and 79 leave directly from Marktplatz in the evening for Mainz and the surrounding area.
