Next construction phase in Merxheim: changes to bus services (from 20.10. until further notice)

From Monday, October 20, 2025, the next construction phase of the roadworks in Merxheim will begin.
The main roadbetween Schulstraße and Nachtigallenweg will be completely closed for this purpose.

Affected bus routes:

263, 285 and 287

During the construction phase, the affected routes will take a detour:

• From the direction of Kirn:
  Via the B41 to Monzingen, there turn right onto the K97, continue on the L232 to Merxheim.
  A replacement stop will be set up at the traffic circle at the cemetery.
  Then continue on the regular route.
• In the opposite direction:
  According to the detour described above.

Stops that cannot be served:

• Merxheim / Kindergarten
• Merxheim / town center
• Merxheim / old town hall
• Merxheim / Cemetery

Replacement stop:

• At the cemetery traffic circle

School trips (GS + Kindergarten Monzingen)

Different detour routes apply for certain school journeys:

Route 285: Routes 123, 135, 141, 125, 131, 112
Route 287: Routes 107, 109

These journeys use the following route:
B41→ K97 → Hauptstraße → Schulstraße → Berger Weg → Unter Rothell → Großstraße,
then continue on the regular route.

Stop that cannot be served:

• Merxheim / Kindergarten

Alternative stop for school trips:

• Berger Weg

Duration of the measure: from 20.10.2025 (probably several weeks)
