Line 52: SEV to Bretzenheim (October 27)

The trams on line 52 must remain in service beyond October 27, 2025. The reason for this is that extensive renovation and reconstruction work is being carried out on the line and at the stops on the route to and from Bretzenheim. This work was supposed to be completed at the same time as the track connection at Alicenplatz. However, there have unfortunately been unplanned delays.

As things stand at present, trams on line 52 will have to be replaced by buses on the section between the main station and Bretzenheim/Bahnstraße until spring 2026.

Trams on line 52 coming from Hechtsheim will only run as far as the main station and, during the day, on to the Zollhafen/Inge-Reitz-Straße stop (and back).
