By bus and train to the Mainz 05 home match on 5.12.
For the home match of 1. FSV Main 05 against VFL Borussia Mönchengladbach on Friday, 05.12.2025, additional buses will again run between Mainz main station and the MEWA Arena.
Special buses main station - MEWA Arena
Departures will start at 5 p.m. from the main station from the Alicenstraße ramp (stop area S).
After the end of the match, the buses will depart from the special Arena stop on Saarstraße, stop areas A + B (bus) to the main station from 10:15 p.m. until around 0:30 a.m.
The vehicles will run at regular intervals according to passenger numbers without intermediate stops and will therefore reach their destination within 5 minutes.
Passengers wishing to board at the stops Hauptbahnhof West / Mainzer Taubertsbergbad, Universität or Friedrich-von-Pfeiffer-Weg are requested to take lines 54, 56 or 58 to the Kisselberg stop or streetcar 51, 53 or 59 to the Jakob-Heinz-Straße / Arena stop.
For users of the Bruchwegstadion parking lot, we recommend boarding at the stops Universität B or G on the above-mentioned lines 51, 53, 54, 56, 58 and 59.
General scheduled services
Before the game:
Additional trips from the city districts / suburbs directly to the arena will take place from approx. 18:15:
- Line E from Budenheim/Hauptstraße via Mombach, Gonsenheim and Hartenberg
- Line 68 from Hochheim/Altenwohnheim
Line 78 from Finthen/Römerquelle, from Daniel-Brendel-Straße directly to Kisselberg
After the game:
The regular service will be reinforced with additional trips as required from approx. 22:50:- Line 51 (from the out-of-town Kisselberg stop)
- Lines 54, 56 and 78 (all from the out-of-town Kisselberg stop)
- Line 58 to Bischofsheim (from the Kisselberg stop towards the city center)
- Line 68 to Hochheim (from the Kisselberg stop towards the city center)
For safety reasons, the stops will be closed from 22:15 to 23:15:
- Jakob-Heinz-Straße/Arena in both directions
- Mainz University of Applied Sciences, stop area A (in the direction of the city center)
