For the Wiesbaden Easter Market 2026 on Sunday, March 22, 2026, the use of MVG and ESWE buses within Wiesbaden (including the city districts) is free of charge. The VMW event ticket is offered for journeys to individual other areas.
Included in the free use are, for example, trips from Amöneburg, Kastel and Kostheim to Wiesbaden.
For example, a normal ticket must be purchased for trips to and from Mainz or the Mainspitze. However, the VMW event ticket will be offered here from March 20 to 22 - together with ESWE Verkehr. If you are traveling with several people, we recommend the group day ticket.
The ticket is offered around the folk festivals in Mainz and Wiesbaden. It is valid for one outward and one return journey and must be validated in each case. The return journey must be made by 5 a.m. on the day following the outward journey.
