From March 18 until probably the beginning of May, a new traffic circle will be built in Wendelsheim.
As a result, routes 425, 440, 445, 446 and 497 will have to be widely diverted.
The following regulations will apply to most journeys on these lines during the construction period:
Line 425:
- Buses will travel from Wendelsheim directly to Nieder-Wiesen. Nack is omitted. Nack will be served by route 440 instead.
Route 440:
- Buses will be diverted between Wendelsheim and Erbes-Büdesheim Alzeyer Straße via Nack.
- The bus stop "Erbes-Büdesheim, Friedhof" will be omitted.
- As the line has important connections in Bad Kreuznach, Wöllstein and Alzey, the additional journey time is compensated for by the fact that Stein-Bockenheim is no longer served. Instead, a shuttle bus will be set up between Wonsheim and Stein-Bockenheim for passengers to/from Stein-Bockenheim.
Journeys on routes 445 and 446:
- End and start at "Uffhofen, Geistermühle".
Line 497:
- The buses can only serve an alternative stop "Wendelsheim, Am Eicherwald" in Wendelsheim.
