Another strike at ESWE Verkehr in Wiesbaden (24.2.-25.2.)

ESWE Verkehr from Wiesbaden will be on strike from Tuesday, February 24, 3:00 a.m., until Wednesday, February 25, 2026, 3:00 a.m..

During this period, most of the lines operated by ESWE in Wiesbaden will be canceled.

Lines 5, 28, 39 and 46, which are operated by our partner companies, and the regional buses are expected to operate. However, there may also be restrictions here.

On the Mainz lines, there will be cancellations and changes to lines 6, 33 and 74.

Lines 9 and 28 are not or only slightly affected.

  • Lines 6 and 33 only run from Mainz and Kostheim to Wiesbaden Ost station (and back).

  • On line 9, only the 4:35 a.m. trip from Schierstein / Oderstraße to Mainz is affected.

  • Line 74 only runs from Hechtsheim to Biebrich / Friedrich-Bergius-Straße (and back).

  • Line N7 will unfortunately have to be canceled completely.

Mainzer Mobilität is trying to replace some of the journeys otherwise operated by ESWE Verkehr, but unfortunately cancellations cannot be avoided.

For journeys between Mainz and Wiesbaden, please use the hourly commuter train service on the S-Bahn line S8 or the SEV buses operated by Deutsche Bahn if possible. The S-Bahn line S1 and regional trains run between Kastel and Wiesbaden. Details can be found on the RMV website.
