On Tuesday, 14.4.2026, from 4 a.m. to approx. 1:30 p.m., the stops Landwehrweg, Universitätsmedizin Süd and Obere Zahlbacher Straße (each in the direction of the city center) will be cancelled on lines 69 and 78, as well as the stops "Mainz, An der Philipsschanze" and "Mainz, Pariser Tor" on line 78.
This is due to crane work and the associated full closure of Landwehrweg.

Direction of travel
The buses will run from the Pariser Tor stop (stop area H) - without an intermediate stop - to the Fichteplatz stop, which will be used as a replacement, and from there on to the Universitätsmedizin stop. The stops "Mainz, Pariser Tor" (stop area G, in Landwehrweg), "Mainz, Universitätsmedizin Süd" and "Mainz, Obere Zahlbacher Straße" will be omitted in this direction.
Direction Bodenheim
The normal route can be used.

Direction Finthen
The buses will instead start at the Fichteplatz stop and travel directly from there to the Am Gautor stop. The stops "Mainz, Landwehrweg", "Mainz, Universitätsmedizin" and "Mainz, Obere Zahlbacher Straße" will be omitted in this direction.
Direction Landwehrweg
The buses will depart from the stop "Mainz, Am Gautor" to the alternative final stop Fichteplatz. The stops "Mainz, An der Philippsschanze", "Mainz, Pariser Tor" and "Mainz, Landwehrweg" are no longer available in this direction of travel.
