From Wednesday, 8.4.2026, there will be major changes to routes 79 and 80 in the Uhlerborn, Heidesheim, Heidenfahrt, Wackernheim and Ingelheim areas. This is due to the closure of the Freie Platz in Heidesheim for approx. 1.5 years and the closure of Lennebergstraße in Uhlerborn for approx. 5 months.

Freier Platz: Not applicable for all lines.
Goethestraße: Lines 79 and 80 will also stop here.
Bahnhof: The stop will be moved to another location: The stop is located on Heidenfahrtstraße, between the junctions with Rheinstraße and Turnerstraße.
Line 80 also stops here.Mainzer Straße: Line 80 no longer stops here. The bus stop is only served by line 79. The buses stop here - both in the direction of Ingelheim and in the direction of Mainz - at the stop in the direction of Ingelheim.
Oberdorfstraße: Line 80 is no longer available here. The stop will be replaced by the ING mobil line 614, which runs from Ingelheim via Heidesheim and Wackernheim back to Ingelheim.
Sandmühle: Only served by line 79.
Heidenfahrt:
No changes to the stops. However, there will be changes to journeys to and from Heidesheim station: From Heidenfahrt to Heidesheim station, journeys on line 79 in the direction of Ingelheim must be used. From Heidesheim station to Heidenfahrt, you will have to use line 79 in the direction of Mainz.
- Changes to school transport:
The 7:23 a.m. departure of line 79 from Unteraue / Rheinufer is canceled. It will be replaced by a journey on route 80, which will also run via Heidenfahrt (approx. 7:18 a.m.) on school days.
Ingelheim:
- Steingasse: Line 80 only stops here in the direction of Mainz. The departure will be at the stop in Steingasse.
- Untere Stiftstraße: Line 80 stops here in the direction of Mainz instead of Ingelheim.
Uhlerborn:
- Im Schäfersborn / Autobahnmeisterei: No changes.
- Lennebergstraße: The stop will be moved to a different location: The stop is located in Walterslebener Straße at the level of house number 43.
- Walterslebener Straße: No changes.
- Changes to school transport:
The journey on route 79 to Ingelheim at around 6:41 a.m. is canceled in Uhlerborn. Please change to route 80 at around 6:57 am. The reason for this is a better distribution of capacity utilization in the direction of Ingelheim.
Wackernheim:
- Line 80 is completely canceled in Wackernheim. As a replacement, the ING mobil line 614 will run from Ingelheim via Heidesheim and Wackernheim back to Ingelheim.
- Changes to school transport: Due to the discontinuation of route 80 in Wackernheim: Additional journey on route 56 from Wackernheim / Große Hohl (without Rathausplatz) to Ingelheim.
