For the Burgfest, which takes place from 22 to 25 May 2026 on the Ochsenwiese in Gustavsburg, we are once again offering an additional meinRad station on the festival grounds. The festival is also very easy to reach by bus and train.
How to get to the Gustavsburg castle festival
by bus & train:
The bus stops Am Alten Fährhaus (lines 54, 56, 58 and 91) and Gustavsburg train station (S-Bahn line S8 and hourly regional train line RB75*) are located in the immediate vicinity of the festival grounds on the Ochsenwiese.
From the Am Alten Fährhaus stop, for example, there are direct connections to and from Mainz, Kostheim and Ginsheim.
From Gustavsburg train station, you can reach Mainz, Wiesbaden, Rüsselsheim, Darmstadt and Frankfurt, for example, without changing trains.
