By bus and train to the Mainz 05 home match on 12.4.

For the home match of 1. FSV Mainz 05 against SC Freiburg on 12.4.2026 additional trips have been arranged again.

Special buses main station - MEWA-Arena

Departures start at 4 p.m. from the main station from the Alicenstraße ramp (stop area S).

After the end of the match, the buses will depart from the special Arena stop on Saarstraße, stop areas A + B (bus) to the main station from 9:15 p.m. to around 11 p.m.

The vehicles will run at regular intervals according to passenger numbers without intermediate stops and will therefore reach their destination within 5 minutes.

Passengers arriving at the stops

  • "Mainz, Hauptbahnhof West/Mainzer Taubertsbergbad"
  • "Mainz, Universität" (lines 54, 56 and 58 do not stop at this stop) or
  • "Mainz, Friedrich-von-Pfeiffer-Weg"

please use the lines 54, 56 or 58 to the stop Kisselberg or the SEV buses of line 53 to the stop Hochschule Mainz / Campusbrücke.

For users of the parking lot at Bruchwegstadion, we recommend boarding the above-mentioned SEV buses of line 53 at the stop Universität G.

Before the match:

Additional trips from the city districts/suburbs directly to the arena will take place from approx. 5 pm:

  • Line 54 from "Klein-Winternheim, Bahnhof"
  • Line 56 from "Wackernheim, Große Hohl"
  • Line 57 from "Kastel, Krautgärten"
  • Line 58 from "Bischofsheim, Treburer Straße" and "Finthen, Theodor-Heuss-Straße"
  • Line 68 from "Budenheim, Hauptstraße and Hochheim, Altenwohnheim
  • Line 78 from "Finthen, Römerquelle", from Daniel-Brendel-Straße directly to Kisselberg

After the game:

The regular service will be increased in frequency as required from 21:30 and reinforced with additional trips:

  • SEV buses on route 53 in the direction of Lerchenberg (from the Hochschule Mainz / Campusbrücke E stop)
  • Lines 54, 56, 58 and 78 in the direction of Drais / Finthen (each from the Kisselberg D stop)
  • Lines 58 and 68 to Bischofsheim or Hochheim (from the Kisselberg C stop to Hochheim)

Further additional trips:

  • Line 630: departs at 22:05 from Mainz to Partenheim
