By bus and train to the Mainz 05 home match on 19.3.

For the home match of 1. FSV Mainz 05 against Sigma Olomouc on 19.3.2026 there will again be additional trips between Mainz main station and the MEWA-Arena.

Special buses main station - MEWA-Arena

Departures start at 15:15 from the main station from the Alicenstraße ramp (stop area S).

After the end of the match, the buses will depart from the special stop "Mainz, Arena" on Saarstraße, stop areas A + B (bus) to the main station until around 0:45 (depending on the course of the match).

The vehicles run at regular intervals according to the number of passengers without intermediate stops and thus reach their destination within 5 minutes.

Passengers wishing to board the bus at the stops "Mainz, Hauptbahnhof West", "Mainz, Mainzer Taubertsberg Bad + Spa", "Mainz, Universität/Haupteingang" (no stop for bus lines 54, 56 and 58 at this stop) or "Mainz, Friedrich-von-Pfeiffer-Weg", "Mainz, Universität" are requested to use lines 54, 56 or 58 to the Kisselberg stop or lines 51, 53 and 59 to the Jakob-Heinz-Straße/Arena stop.

For users of the Bruchwegstadion parking lot, we recommend boarding the streetcar lines 51, 53 or 59 at the "Mainz, Universität B" stop.

General public transport

Before the match:
Public transport will be increased as required from approx. 16:45 with additional services as follows:

  • Line 68 from "Budenheim, Hauptstraße" and "Hochheim, Altenwohnheim"

  • Line 78 from "Finthen, Römerquelle", from Daniel-Brendel-Straße directly to Kisselberg


    After the game:
    On lines 54, 56, 68 and 78, there will be additional journeys from Kisselberg to Hochheim, Klein-Winternheim, "Finthen, Römerquelle", Lerchenberg and Wackernheim after the end of the match as required.

    The additional journeys are not included in the timetables due to a possible extension of the match.

    For safety reasons, the stops Jakob-Heinz-Straße/Arena in both directions and Hochschule Mainz towards the city center will be closed for approx. 60 minutes after the actual end of the match. Clearance will be given by the stewards on site depending on the situation and the closing times may therefore vary.
