Due to the construction of a formation protection layer, there will be single-track operations and complete train cancellations between 20.3. and 27.4.2026. The section between Bingen and Bacharach is affected.
From Monday 5:00 am to Friday 9:00 pm , only the RB26 line will operate during this period.
The route is completely closedfrom 9 p.m. on Friday to 5 a.m. on Monday.
Line RE2:
- is completely canceled from March 21-24 due to another construction project between Mainz and Frankfurt.
RE15 line:
- is partially canceled from 30.3. - 10.4. between Kaiserslautern and Koblenz
Line RE17:
- is partially canceled from 20.3. - 10.4. between Kaiserslautern and Koblenz
A corresponding rail replacement service has been set up for the construction period.
