Due to track renewal and work on the digital signal box in Mainz, there will be timetable changes on lines S8 and S9 from March 14 to April 3, 2026.

- Cancellation of the S8 between Wiesbaden and Mainz during the day (5 a.m. to 9 p.m.)
- Cancellation of the S8 and S9 between Wiesbaden and Kelsterbach at night (9 p.m. to 5 a.m.)
- Replacement service with buses
