It all kicks off with the World Cup group stage match between Germany and Ecuador on Thursday, June 25, at 10 p.m. On this evening, bus lines 630 and 660 will operate beyond their regular schedules from Mainz until 1:40 a.m. This ensures passengers have a reliable connection to the region even after the game ends.
Should the German national team play again later in the tournament on a weekday or late on a Sunday, additional trips will also be offered for those matches. This could already be the case on June 29: If Germany advances to the Round of 16 as group winner, the match will begin at 10:30 p.m. German time. In this case as well, the buses would again run later than usual to bring fans home safely.
On Fridays and Saturdays, lines 630 and 660 run regularly until 1:40 a.m.
