Good news for fans of 1. FSV Mainz 05: The popular KombiTicket for the 05ers’ home games is being extended. The Rhein-Nahe Public Transportation Association (RNN), Mainzer Mobilität, and 1. FSV Mainz 05 are continuing their successful partnership. The KombiTicket will remain valid for the next three seasons, i.e., from the 2026–27 season through the 2028–29 season.
With the KombiTicket, travel to and from the stadium on game day is already included in the ticket price. Tickets for 1. FSV Mainz 05 home games entitle holders to use public transportation (2nd class) for the round trip. Fans can use it to travel comfortably from anywhere within the entire RNN network area to the stadium and back home by bus, tram, and commuter trains—without having to purchase additional tickets.
“1. FSV Mainz 05 inspires fans far beyond the city limits. With the KombiTicket, we enable the many visitors from across the entire RNN network area to enjoy a relaxed and climate-friendly journey to home games. We’re pleased to continue this proven offering together with our partners,” said Silke Meyer, Managing Director of the RNN.
“On home game days, our trams and buses provide the connection between the city and the MEWA ARENA. The KombiTicket perfectly complements this service and has become an indispensable part of the mobility concept surrounding home games,” adds Florian Wiesemann, Managing Director of Mainzer Mobilität.
“Fans come to our home games from Mainz and far beyond. The KombiTicket makes the trip to the MEWA ARENA even easier for many of them. “We’re delighted to continue our successful partnership with the RNN and Mainzer Mobilität and to be able to offer our fans this added value for the next three seasons as well,” says Jochen Röttgermann, Chief Marketing and Sales Officer at 1. FSV Mainz 05.
This offer helps reduce private vehicle traffic around the MEWA ARENA and enables a comfortable and climate-friendly journey. Especially during home games with high attendance, public transit offers an attractive alternative to driving.
The KombiTicket has been an integral part of the mobility concept surrounding 1. FSV Mainz 05’s home games for many years. With this contract extension, the partners are continuing their successful collaboration and will continue to offer fans a simple and sustainable way to attend their club’s home games over the next three seasons.
