Due to construction, Gerbereiplatz in Stromberg will be closed from Monday, July 27, 2026, through Friday, July 31, 2026.
The closure affects lines 230, 232, 237, and 240. The Gerbereiplatz stop will not be served during this period.
The following detour and temporary stop arrangements will be in effect for the duration of the closure:
Line 232
Direction: Stromberg → Daxweiler → Seibersbach → Dörrebach → Stromberg:
From Von-Gauvain-Straße, the bus turns left onto Staatsstraße and serves the temporary stop on Staatsstraße (near house no. 23). The route then continues via the L224 to the Hunsfels turnaround.
Direction: Stromberg → Dörrebach → Seibersbach → Daxweiler → Stromberg:
After serving the Daxweiler Kirche stop, the bus continues via the K37 to Warmsroth and then via the L214 toward Gerbereiplatz. It then stops at the temporary stop in front of Gerbereiplatz and subsequently at the temporary stop on Staatsstraße (near house no. 23). The bus then continues to the Hunsfels turnaround.
Line 237
Direction from Schindeldorf:
Via August-Gerlach-Straße and right onto Von-Gauvain-Straße. Then left onto Staatsstraße to serve the temporary stop at Staatsstraße (near house no. 23). The bus then continues to the Hunsfels turnaround.
Opposite direction:
The return trip follows the same detour route.
Line 230
Direction from Bingen:
The bus first serves the temporary stop in front of Gerbereiplatz and then travels via Staatsstraße to the temporary stop on Staatsstraße (near house no. 23).
- Trips with Stromberg as the final destination: Continue to the Hunsfels turnaround.
- Trips heading toward Simmern: Continue to the Scharnierfabrik stop.
Opposite direction:
The route follows the same detour in the opposite direction.
Line 240
Direction from Bad Kreuznach:
The bus serves the temporary stop in front of Gerbereiplatz and then travels along Staatsstraße to the temporary stop at Staatsstraße (near house no. 23). From there, the route continues to the Hunsfels turnaround.
Opposite direction:
The route will follow the same detour path in the opposite direction.
Connection Arrangements During the Closure
To ensure that transfers between lines can still be made, the following transfer arrangements apply:
Line 230 ↔ Line 240
The connection between lines 230 and 240 is at the temporary stop Gerbereiplatz (in front of the actual Gerbereiplatz).
Passengers can transfer between the two lines there without having to use the regular Gerbereiplatz stop.
Lines 232 and 237 ↔ Lines 230 and 240
Connections between Lines 232 and 237 and Lines 230 and 240 are provided at two temporary stops:
- Temporary stop Gerbereiplatz (in front of Gerbereiplatz)
- Temporary stop Staatsstraße (near house no. 23)
Passengers wishing to transfer between the aforementioned lines should note the respective temporary stops for arriving and departing buses.
