On Sunday, May 31, 2026, the city run "Ingelheimer Halbe" will take place. Parts of the city center will be closed on this day. Binger Straße and Bahnhofstraße in the city center will be closed to traffic during the event.
From the start of the timetable until 1 p.m., the city bus routes 611, 612 and 613 will only operate in the direction Bahnhof - West - Frei-Weinheim. The direction from the train station to Nieder-Ingelheim (Herstel) or to Ober-Ingelheim cannot be used during this period.
The city bus route 614 will run until 1 pm via the east-west bypass to Heidesheim and on to Wackernheim. From Wackernheim, route 614 runs via Steingasse - Herstel to the east-west bypass and on to Ingelheim station.
Until 1 p.m., buses on route 56 will run from Ingelheim station in the direction of Mainz via Wackernheim and vice versa via the east-west bypass to Herstel and via Steingasse back to Mainzer Straße. The stops Neues Rathaus, Winzerkeller, François-Lachenal-Platz, Untere Stiftstraße and Kohgasse cannot be served.
Line 79 runs from Ingelheim station via the east-west bypass to Heidenfahrt and continues according to plan.
Lines 625, 626, 640 and 654 in the direction of Selztal and vice versa will not be able to call at the stops in Bahnhofstraße and Neuweg until 1 pm. The detour will be via the L 428.
