Line 56 and 611: Mainzer Straße closed (8.6.-30.6.)

Due to roadworks, Mainzer Straße will be closed from 8.6. to 30.6.2026.

During this period, the affected lines will take a detour via Ottonenstraße, Nathalie-von-Harder-Straße, Untere Stiftstraße and Steingasse.

Line 611:

  • runs from the station to the Herstel stop according to plan
  • The return route runs to the Kleiner Markt stop according to plan and then on to Winzerkeller
  • The stops Prinzenstraße, Kreuzbergstraße, Altenzentrum and Grundstraße cannot be served

Line 56:

  • travels in the direction of Wackenrheim/Mainz to the Winzerkeller stop according to plan and then continues via Ottonenstraße
  • The replacement stop at Rathausgässchen will be served
  • The Francois-Lachenal-Platz stop cannot be served
