From Monday, June 29, 2026, through Friday, August 7, 2026, Hauptstraße in Essenheim will be closed.
This affects bus lines 630, 653, 654, and 656.
Routes 630 and 654
During the closure, service to Essenheim will operate as a one-way route. Buses will enter Essenheim via the Netto store, serving the Windhäuser Weg and Römerberg stops.
The buses will then turn around at the Domherrngärten/K31 roundabout. If necessary, the “Römerberg” and “Windhäuser Weg” stops will be served again.
It is not possible to turn around at the Nieder-Olmer Straße roundabout.
The stops Essenheim – Elsheimer Straße, Essenheim – Rathaus, and Essenheim – Finter Weg are omitted.
In addition, the stops Essenheim – Windhäuser Weg and Essenheim – Römerberg will be served.Lines 653 and 656
Buses will run between Ober-Olm – Essenheimer Straße and Nieder-Olm – Selztalcenter via the Essenheim – Windhäuser Weg and Essenheim – Römerberg stops.
Trips on Line 656 that normally begin or end at Essenheim/Rathaus will instead start or end at the Windhäuser Weg stop. The buses will turn around in the Netto parking lot.
The stops Essenheim – Elsheimer Straße, Essenheim – Rathaus, Essenheim – Finter Weg, and Essenheim – In den Domherrngärten are not served.
In addition, the stops Essenheim – Windhäuser Weg and Essenheim – Römerberg are served.
