Due to a complete closure of the B9 between Nierstein/Fähre and Oppenheim/Im Herrnweiher, there will be restrictions on bus service from Friday, July 10, 2026, through Sunday, August 2, 2026(tentatively). The affected routes are 640, 644, and 646.
During the closure, routes 640 and 646 will begin and end at the Nierstein train station. All stops in Oppenheim will be skipped on these routes.
Route 644 – Detour
Toward Köngernheim
After the Oppenheim/Landeskrongalerie stop, the following detour route will be in effect:
Oppenheim/Verbandsgemeinde → Dienheim/Rathaus → Dienheim/Aussiedlerhof → Uelversheim (no stops) → Weinolsheim/Uelversheimer Straße → Weinolsheim/Freier Platz → Weinolsheim/Dalheimer Straße → Friesenheim/Gaustraße → Köngernheim/Osterberg
From the Köngernheim/Osterberg stop, the route continues along the regular route.
Toward Oppenheim
After the Köngernheim/Osterberg stop, take the following detour route:
Friesenheim/Gaustraße → Weinolsheim/Dalheimer Straße → Weinolsheim/Freier Platz → Weinolsheim/Uelversheimer Straße → Uelversheim (no stop) → Dienheim/Aussiedlerhof → Dienheim/Rathaus → Oppenheim/Verbandsgemeinde → Oppenheim/Landskrongalerie
From the Oppenheim/Landskrongalerie stop, the route continues along the regular route.
