From September 7, 2026, through September 28, 2026, the Ochsenbrücke in Bad Kreuznach will be closed to traffic heading toward the train station (BHF) due to construction. Traffic in the opposite direction will remain open.
Affected routes
The closure affects routes 201, 202, 203, 204, 211, 223, 224, 227, and 630.
Detour toward the train station
The affected routes will follow the following detour route toward the train station:
Alzeyer Straße or Bosenheimer Straße → Dr.-Konrad-Adenauer-Straße → DRKRoundabout → back via Dr.-Konrad-Adenauer-Straße toward the train station → Am Römerkastell Roundabout → Am Römerkastell → Europaplatz → temporary stop in front of the traffic light at Europaplatz.
The route will then continue along the regular route or to the next bus stop, where service will resume.
Important Notes for Service Operations
- Pole B cannot be served during the closure. As a substitute, the temporary stop at Europaplatz must be used.
- The temporary stop is designated for both boarding and alighting.
- Delays are to be expected during the closure.
- The Lina-Hilger-Gymnasium and Konrad-Frey-Halle stops will continue to be served.
Opposite Direction
In the opposite direction, Mast A can be served as usual. The outbound trip follows the regular route without a detour.
The Bosenheimerstr. BHF stop in the direction of the train station cannot be served during the closure.
Special Note for Lines 201, 223, and 630
Lines 201, 223, and 630 heading toward KH BHF will, after serving the AOK stop, continue directly via the detour route on Dr.-Konrad-Adenauer-Straße. The Bosenheimerstr. BHF stop in the direction of the train station will not be served.
In the opposite direction, the lines will operate as usual without a detour.
