From Saturday, September 26, through Monday, September 28, 2026, streetcars will be replaced by buses on various sections of the route due to landscaping work.

Affected section: Main Station – Lerchenberg
Time: approx. 8 a.m. to approx. 5 p.m.
SEV buses will be in service between Lerchenberg / Hindemithstraße and the Main Station.
Routes marked as Line 53 will run continuously between Lerchenberg and Hechtsheim.
Trips marked as Line 51 will, in some cases, continue from the Main Station as Line 53 to Hechtsheim.
Trams on lines 50 and 51 will operate only between Am Gautor and Finthen / Römerquelle or Poststraße during the specified time period:
In the direction of Finthen, some trams on Line 50 will run from the Am Gautor stop only as far as the main station and will continue from there as Line 51 to Finthen’s Poststraße.
In the opposite direction, trams departing from Poststraße as Line 51 will continue from the Gemarkungsgrenze stop as Line 50 to the Am Gautor stop.

Trips on the existing SEV Line 50 coming from Hechtsheim will be extended beyond the Central Station to Finthen’s Römerquelle (via Finthen / Poststraße) (and vice versa).
Trips on the existing SEV Line 53, coming from Hechtsheim, will run to the Central Station and continue from there as SEV Line 51 toward Finthen / Römerquelle (and vice versa).Monday, September 28, 2026

Time: approx. 8 a.m. to approx. 4 p.m.
During this time window, trams on Line 52 will only operate between Zollhafen / Inge-Reitz-Straße and the Employment Agency.
The existing SEV service between Hechtsheim and the Main Station will be extended to and from Bretzenheim / Bahnstraße during the specified time window.
During this time window, passengers boarding the SEV at the Main Station heading toward Hechtsheim will do so at stop area K instead of C.
