Due to a burst water main, routes 74 and 92 must be rerouted in Mombach until further notice. Starting Tuesday, September 22, at 4:00 a.m., there will be changes to the detours, which will result in changes at nearly all stops in Mombach.
Affected routes: 74 and 92
Route 74:
Buses coming from Wiesbaden will take the Mainz-Gonsenheim highway exit and proceed directly to the Obere Kreuzstraße stop (temporary stop, located in front of the entrance to the swimming pool parking lot).
The stops at In der Dalheimer Wiese, Karlsstraße, Am Schwermer, and Westring will be skipped.
Alternative routes:
As an alternative, please use lines 60, 63, 80, and 81 from the “Am Schwermer” and “Ortsverwaltung Mombach” stops to the “Zwerchallee” stop, and transfer there to lines 50 and 51 toward Finthen. At the Elbestraße stop, you can then transfer to line 74 (and vice versa).
Line 92:
Buses are taking a detour between the Nordbahnhof and Krongarten stops:
- Nordbahnhof, Platform B (last stop before the detour)
- Mombach Local Administration, Stop Area A (on the other side of the street than usual)
- Mombach / Bahnhof, Stop Area A (on the other side of the street than usual)
- Eintrachthalle, Stop Area A (on the other side of the street than usual)
- Alte Waggonfabrik, stop A (on the opposite side of the street from usual)
- Obere Kreuzstraße, Stop D (on Erzbergerstraße)
- Krongarten, Stop B (first stop after the detour)
The return trip follows the reverse route.
The stops Tierheim Mainz, Zwerchallee, Am Schwermer A & B, Westring C & D, and Obere Kreuzstraße A & B are not served. Please use one of the stops listed above instead.
