Special Bus Route: Main Train Station – MEWA Arena
As with previous games, buses will run between the Main Station and the MEWA Arena. Departures begin at 12:00 p.m. from the Main Station, from the Alicenstraße ramp (stop area S).
After the game ends, buses will depart for the Main Train Station until around 7:15 p.m. from the special “Arena” stop on Saarstraße, stops A and B (bus).
The buses run at frequent intervals based on passenger volume, without making any stops along the way, and thus reach their destination within 5 minutes.
Passengers who wish to board at the Hauptbahnhof West/Mainzer Taubertsberg Bad + Spa, Universität/Haupteingang (bus lines 54, 56, and 58 do not stop at this stop), or Friedrich-von-Pfeiffer-Weg/Universität stops, are asked to take lines 54, 56, or 58 to the Kisselberg stop or tram lines 51 and 53 to the Jakob-Heinz-Straße/Arena stop.
For those using the parking lot at Bruchwegstadion, we recommend boarding at the “Universität B” stops on tram lines 51 or 53.

Before the game:
Regular service will be supplemented with additional trips starting around 1:00 p.m. as needed, as follows:
- Line 54 from Klein-Winternheim/Train Station
- Line 56 from Wackernheim/Rathausplatz
- Line 57 from Kastel/Krautgärten
- Line 58 from Bischofsheim/Treburer Straße and Finthen/Theodor-Heuss-Straße
- Route 68 from Budenheim/Hauptstraße and Hochheim/Altenwohnheim
- Line 78 from Finthen/Römerquelle, from Daniel-Brendel-Straße directly to Kisselberg
After the game:
Regular service will be supplemented with additional trips starting around 5:45 p.m. as needed, as follows:
- Route 51 (from the Kisselberg stop heading out of town to Lerchenberg)
- Lines 56, 58, and 78 (all from the Kisselberg stop heading out of town)
- Line 68 (from the Kisselberg stop heading into town to Hochheim)
For safety reasons, service will be suspended for approximately 60 minutes after the actual end of the game at the Jakob-Heinz-Straße/Arena stops in both directions and at the Hochschule Mainz stop heading into the city. Service will be resumed based on the situation by on-site law enforcement, and the suspension times may therefore vary.
Bus Line 630
Before the game, the trips from Bad Kreuznach to Mainz departing at 1:26 p.m. and 2:26 p.m. from Stadecken Ehrensäule will be supplemented by an additional bus from that location.
After the game, an additional bus will depart at 6:12 p.m. from Mainz Hochschule to Partenheim.
