RE 2: Trains are largely canceled on weekends between Mainz and Frankfurt (Aug. 1–2, Aug. 9–9; some trains on Aug. 10, Aug. 15, and Aug. 23).

On the weekends of August 1–2 and August 7–9, most RE 2 trains will not make stops between Mainz Central Station and Frankfurt Central Station.

On August 9, 15, and 23, evening trains between Mainz and Koblenz will be canceled and replaced by buses.
