From October 23, 2026, at 8:30 p.m. through November 6, 2026, there will be partial service disruptions between Worms Central Station and Frankfurt Central Station (RE) and between Bodenheim and Mainz (S-Bahn). From November 7, 2026, through November 26, 2026, there will be partial service disruptions between Mainz Central Station and Frankfurt Central Station.
Affected lines:
RE4 and RE14
A bus replacement service will operate between Worms and Mainz. Between Mainz and Frankfurt, passengers can use other regional train services.
Due to space limitations, bicycles cannot be transported on the buses.
Not all buses can stop directly at the station. Information about the bus stops can be found in the DB Navigator, as well as via specific directions and signage at the stations.
Lines S5/S6:
On S-Bahn lines S5 and S6, there will be service disruptions between Mainz Central Station and Bodenheim from the evening of October 23 through November 6, 2026. In the first week, about half of the trains will be canceled and replaced by buses; in the second week, all trains will be canceled.
