Due to work for the Mainz digital signal box and maintenance work, there will be timetable changes from Friday, 24.04.2026 to Friday, 22.05.2026, from 9 pm to 5 am.
Lines S8 and S9 will be affected as follows:
At night from April 24 to May 15, 2026:
- Cancellation of the S8 between Wiesbaden and Kelsterbach
- Replacement service with buses (S8A, S8E, S8X*)
At night from April 24 to 26 and May 1 to 22, 2026:
- Cancellation of the S9 between Wiesbaden and Kelsterbach
- Replacement service with buses (S9X) or use of the S8
At night on May 4/5, April 2026:
- Cancellation of the S9 between Wiesbaden and Frankfurt Airport
- Replacement service with buses (S9X)
