Due to track repairs and stop renovations, the tram lines to Hechtsheim will be replaced by buses starting June 29 and are expected to continue through fall 2026.
- Lines 50 and 53 will be replaced by buses between Am Gautor and Hechtsheim; the replacement buses for Line 50 will continue as Line 66 from Hechtsheim Mühldreieck, while the replacement buses for Line 53 will travel to Hechtsheim Bürgerhaus.
- Line 52, coming from Bretzenheim, continues on to Mainz Zollhafen and will be replaced by buses between Mainz Hbf and Hechtsheim. Between Mainz Hbf and Zollhafen, Line 52 replaces Line 59, which will be discontinued entirely.
