Effective August 10, the following changes will take effect in Mainz’s public transit system:
- Tram line 53 will no longer run via the main train station but will instead travel directly from the West entrance of the main train station to the new stop at Münsterplatz.
- On Sundays and holidays, night routes will run until 12 p.m. and starting at 9 p.m. Daytime routes will now only run between 12 p.m. and 9 p.m.
- Some trips on lines 57 and 75 have been canceled.
